HAAG – no limits. That makes us exceptional.
Our client's cars are as different as their needs and passions. We aimed at creating boxes that would efficiently expand the space of each modern car, underline its character and constitute a perfect match for it at the same time. As a result we designed two lines of boxes different in their form, capacity, dimensions or design and adjusted to specific requirements of their users.
All HAAG boxes have one thing in common – perfection in every detail as well as the best parameters and performance in the world.
OPTIMAL AERODYNAMICS:
Optimal, aerodynamic line of each box, refined by aerodynamics and air-flow specialists ensuring the lowest air resistance coefficient possible Cx (from 0.18 to 0.24 – in the case of freely suspended boxes; 0.33 in the case of a box mounted on a car with Cx 0.3). Due to this fact our boxes are silent, economical, reduce vibrations and offer unprecedented comfort of travelling.

SPEED:
Thanks to the applied materials (fibre glass, fibre carbon) as well as excellent aerodynamic properties all our boxes obtained positive marks in laboratory tests in the field of safety and comfort (Mark B)

LOW WEIGHT:
The application of the latest technology of production with fibre glass brought about marvellous effects. Apart from the rigidity and strength outdoing the traditional ABS material applied by other manufacturers we have obtained weight similar to boxes made of this material.

DESIGN:
Perfect line of our boxes is not enough. We offer our clients what others do not want to or simply cannot offer – several colour versions as standard, a possibility of adjusting the box colour to the colour of their car or unique graphic designs on boxes. All of this available in a few simple steps with the use of our HAAG Selector tool at www.thehaag.com.

FUNCTIONALITY:
Using HAAG boxes gives sheer pleasure, outstanding simplicity and comfort. We obtained such an effect due to the application of top-class components – available only in the most expensive boxes in the market.
TOTAL FIT - a convenient system of fast box mounting which due to our patent of a blockade integrated with the box regulation guide bar is the safest in the market. You can mount a box on the roof of your car within several seconds only.
DOUBLE SIDE – a system enabling smooth opening and easy access to the box from both sides. The spring lifters raise and lower the cover (lid) smoothly.
MULTI LOCK – a safe lock with three mounting places on both sides of the box, together with a convenient key as standard – if you loose it we will immediately provide you with a spare one.
SURF CARRIERS – additional bars mounted on selected types of boxes. They enable transport of additional equipment on the box (e.g. windsurfing boards).
EASY TRACK – a track enabling regulation of a box' location on a roof. You will be able to move the box smoothly along the roof luggage rack – depending on your needs and the size of the car.
HAAG SELECTOR – a tool for selecting a box, material it is made of, colour and graphic designs available at www.thehaag.com.

PERFECTION WITH NO LIMITS:
No limits – our advertising slogan perfectly reflects our attitude towards designing and creating HAAG roof boxes. Willing to create a perfect box we had to break free from traditional way of thinking and all standards functioning in the market so far.
We are a new brand and so is our attitude towards design, material selection, applied solutions and components and the production process itself. Designers and engineers working on HAAG roof boxes created them from scratch with the use of their knowledge and experience gained in the process of realizing other complex projects in automotive and sailing industry. HAAG's attitude is best visible in the currently ongoing process of creating a perfect box.
1. Concept model of a box
The idea of a new box results from detailed analysis of our clients' needs. Although we are users of roof boxes ourselves we try to listen intently to opinions and suggestions of other practitioners. On the basis of specific functional requirements we create a concept model developed by a team of industrial designers and engineers.
2. Digital testing of the model
The concept model undergoes digital testing. The results help to optimize the shape of the box with regard to air resistance, generated noise and vibrations. Its aerodynamic shape reduces the level of consumed gas as well as the noise in the driver's cabin.
3. Prototype construction and testing
A prototype is built in a laboratory on the basis of plans of designers and engineers. It undergoes inside resistance, easiness of exploitation and driving properties tests.
4. Introducing corrections and testing
After laboratory tests a particular box is tested in the most severe working conditions. On that basis final decisions concerning materials and finishing are made and then a precise and accurate material and production specification is prepared.
5. Equipment for serial production
After touching up the final shape of the roof box equipment for serial production is created.
6. Roof rack production and testing
We never have enough tests and testing. Boxes manufactured on a target production line undergo identical tests as the prototype before.
7. Certification
The box together with the documentation of the production process is sent to certification institutions. Our boxes have successfully been tested in PIMOT (Industrial Motoring Institute) which has been confirmed with appropriate certificates allowing us to mark boxes with B mark. They confirm the fact that HAAG boxes comply with all safety requirements included in WT/059/PIMOT/04 technical conditions. In the nearest future we are planning to certify HAAG boxes with GS (TUV) safety mark.
8. Ready box
The box enters the market after it has met all requirements, obtained necessary certificates and passed all tests. At the same time our designers develop a range of colours for boxes as well as the HAAG ART collection including unique patterns to decorate boxes.
Then we only have to carry out package tests and secured boxes can be sent to our shops and distributors.
