HAAG - Excellent roof boxes

HAAG ABOUT US

SERVICES

Our company specializes in the manufacture of fiber glass and carbon fibers. Under our own brands we produce high quality HAAG roof boxes and decorative pots NUUK tailored to individual needs and requirements of customers.

On individual orders we offer the following services:

1. FORM PRODUCTION

Forms for the production are made from epoxy molding masses or MDF and laminates, for their production we use CNC machine tools.
To build forms we are using proven tooling systems based on vinyloesters and resins with low shrinkage.

The advantages of composite products:
- good resistance to weather conditions;
- the color of the surface layer (gel coat) by full pallet of RAL colors
- the surface can be painted or customized by stickers, etc.
- high strength parameters
- fire retardant materials can be used (elements in the automotive industry)
- both, the production of small batches and high volume might be applied
- the relative low cost of the implementation of production (eg in relation to the metal elements)

2. POLYESTER – GLASS PRODUCTS

Composites are materials that give the opportunity to design their properties. With a choice of resins with different parameters and reinforcement in the form of mats, glass fabric, we can create composite combines the properties of each of these materials.
Sample products:
- Automotive industry (body parts, tuning)
- Boat industry (boats, yachts, kayaks)
- Machine covers
- Interior design elements (tables, chairs, decorative panels)
- And many others

3.
CARBON FIBER PRODUCTS

Carbon fiber is used wherever a minimum weight and maximum strength is required. Not accidently this is the basic material for the production of Formula 1, the fastest racing yachts and many other products and accessories for competitive sport.

Carbon fiber produced by the controlled pyrolysis of polyacrylonitrile and other organic polymers, composed almost entirely of elongated structures similar chemically to the carbon graphite.

Their highly organized structure gives them a high mechanical strength, and the fact that they consist almost entirely of graphite means that they are infusible and chemically resistant. Carbonized fiber is seven times lighter and also six times stronger than steel.

4. FLOCKING

Covering elements with textile fleece – velvet type material
The possibility of covering materials such as:
- Ferrous and nonferrous
- Plastics
- Wood
- Glass
- Fabric
- And more ..

APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES

Hand Laminating
- lamination method of contact (hand) is the manual distributed to the previously prepared resin reinforcement in such a way that saturation was uniform throughout the volume. Apply reinforcement in the form of glass, carbon or aramid mats. Distribution and the supersaturation of the resin is done by using a roller. That reinforcement is fully saturated with air bubbles. In order to remove excess resin and to minimize air bubbles groove rollers are applied.

Vacuum bagging - This method involves manual resin applying and distribution, as is the case in the method of contact. The difference between these two methods is the way of removing excess resin and air bubbles using a vacuum.

Infusion - Method of laminates manufacturing by sucking the resin into the form thanks to vacuum. This technique is similar to previously described methods for producing laminates - vacuum bagging, the difference lies in the fact that the dry reinforcement is arranged in the form and then resin is sucked by using a vacuum. Automation of the process allows to produce a uniform laminate quality and high speed of element’s production. An important benefit of reducing exposure to harmful volatile substances by closing the vacuum mold with foil.

Light-RTM is a technology of forming a composite closed forms of spatial shapes. All layers of reinforcement are laid on the dry form, and then covered with contra-form. After the closure of forms resin is added which pervades the entire reinforcement. Products are characterized by, inter alia, greater aesthetics of both parties.

The most often used are composite forms stiffened with external trusses. Price of equipment to perform the elements in RTM technology, is generally several times lower than the equipment necessary for such an element of the embossing plate.
